Phoenix Cart Donations gives CE Phoenix Cart store owners a professional way to offer customer-funded donations and manage merchant-funded charitable campaigns. Customers can support a selected cause without leaving the normal checkout process, helping turn everyday purchases into meaningful opportunities to give.
Customers can choose from suggested donation amounts, enter a custom amount or round their payable total up to the next whole currency unit. When several causes are available, they can select which organisation they wish to support. Cause logos and optional descriptions help customers understand where their contribution is going.
Donations are validated on the server and displayed as a separate order-total line during checkout. The selected cause and donation amount are carried through to the order confirmation, customer email and administration order details.
Store owners can create and manage multiple causes with names, logos, website links, descriptions, display order and active status. Merchant-funded campaigns can also commit a fixed amount or a percentage of eligible product value without increasing the amount charged to the customer. Campaigns can include optional dates and product or category inclusion and exclusion rules.
A dedicated administration report provides a clear view of customer donations and merchant-funded commitments. Records can be filtered by date, cause, campaign or order and exported as a CSV file. Ordered product names and product models are included to support reconciliation and campaign analysis.
Payment, refund and remittance statuses are tracked separately. Administrators can record whether a donation is pending, collected, failed or cancelled; whether it has been partially or fully refunded; and whether funds are awaiting remittance, scheduled, remitted or reversed. References, dates and audit notes can also be recorded.
Eligible customers can download a PDF donation receipt from their order history after a customer-funded donation reaches a configured collected status. Receipts are not issued for merchant-funded commitments and are withheld following a partial or full refund.
The add-on uses Phoenix Cart hooks and an order-total module, so no Phoenix core-file edits are required. Installation, database repair and safe uninstall controls are included, together with an option to retain historical donation and audit records.
