Moving a product from one category to another

Post by Moxamint »

Hi,

This seems to be a very stupid question, but how do I move a product or category from one place to another and add a product link to other categories? The buttons "move" & "delete" were very conspicuous alongside the "add" button in the legacy osC, but I couldn't find them anywhere on the product listing page in the Phoenix admin:

Thanks in advance for any help.

I don't have 1.0.8.20 ATM so unable to confirm the behaviour you describe, but in 1.0.8.19 I have the InfoBox on the right. Do you get that, if you select a product or category or does it never appear? Whichever is true, this may be an issue for the questions/comments/concerns thread, I would think.

Thank you for the confirmation. Mine does not have that info box you mentioned if I select a product or category. I think before I raise a question, I should do a clean install and see if my issue persists.

Thanks again, Eddy

Solved - it was a glitch from one addon that caused the issue. It gets harder and harder to isolate site issues as the number of add-ons grows...

Glad it's solved!
I'm curious as to what disabled the infoBox and why; did you find the exact code that caused that? Just for my own curiousity :)

It's a third-party add-on so I won't get into the details, but the issue was caused by a redundant language call in the admin hook.

Happy Year of the Rabbit!
