MSRP & Savings on Product Card?

I've been thinking of ways to peak visitors' interest once they arrive on the site. One way is supercharged product cards.

I was wondering if it's possible to put "Up to X% off" or some of the info from the MSRP Pi module on a 1.0.8.4 shop. Maybe could be an addon.

What I've noticed about product cards on websites:

a) if product is on special showing percent off
b) if product has limited stock
c) strikethrough msrp showing new price and savings
d) shipping info such as lead time or delivery timeframe

It's basically the same answer as similar post about star ratings.

Override the product_card component and add in the extra data.

I don't understand how to override the product_card data.

If you're talking about copying the file and placing it in the override component folder, then I've already done that, I think.
