I'm having a rather strange problem, well at least strange to me and I'm hoping someone can point me in the right direction. For some reason my tabs are not working when clicking on a customers order from my orders.php page in admin. In fact if I view the source code I can see that the page seems to abort at line 159 in /xxxxxx/xxxxxx/includes/actions/orders/views/edit.php (or at least it looks like the code is pulled from that file) just before the hook access code...<?= $admin_hooks->cat('sectionStatusHistoryContentForm') ?>. I'm assuming that a hook is giving me grief but I can't seem to alter the code to trouble shoot it in any way. Adding an echo or anything to that edit.php file ie commenting out the hook access code or anything else doesn't seem to alter the page in anyway. I'm puzzled by that and I wonder if some other code is called instead of /xxxxxx/xxxxxx/includes/actions/orders/views/edit.php?
Anyone have any suggestions to help me trouble shoot this issue?

Re: Help with orders.php
Dan, does your hosting error_log say anything ?
L159(ish) is that hook call. But that should not cause issues (unless it's calling a malformed "addon" hook, which is certainly a possibility).
Look in your hooks structure;
{shopside}/includes/hooks/admin/orders/ and see if;
a. does that folder exist
b. is there any files inside the folder
c. do any of those files have a listener "sectionStatusHistoryContentForm"
Default 1.0.8.20..."does not exist a orders folder;

Re: Help with orders.php
Thanks for the direction Gary...I feel like I'm losing my mind. Let me walk through this.
First the error log...I'm not seeing any error being reported and I also looked through the raw logs yesterday and am not seeing anything that I found suspicious. Lines like this....
135.23.48.111 - - [07/Aug/2024:12:45:09 -0400] "GET /xxxxxx/xxxxxxx/orders.php?oID=41779&action=edit HTTP/2.0" 200 4860 "https://fishfoods.ca/xxxxx/xxxxxxx" "Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:128.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/128.0"
I have error reporting set as follows in both application_top.php files.
// set the level of error reporting
ini_set('display_errors', 1);
ini_set('display_startup_errors', 1);
error_reporting(E_ALL);
But nothing is shown.
a. does that folder exist
It does...I have: /xxxxxxx/includes/hooks/admin/orders
b. is there any files inside the folder
There are several.
canned_comments.php
customer_orders.php
deleteQueue.php
injectQueue.php
c. do any of those files have a listener "sectionStatusHistoryContentForm"
Both canned_comments.php and injectQueue.php do.
Default 1.0.8.20..."does not exist a orders folder;

Re: Help with orders.php
Gary the other thing I noticed in fiddling with this yesterday is that if I delete a hook it still shows when listing the hooks in the hooks modules list within admin. I assumed if the hook was deleted that the reference to it would no longer be shown in the hooks listing. I'm not sure if that is normal behaviour or not?

Re: Help with orders.php
Make a backup copy on your computer of both these files, IE, ftp them down to your computer.
Completely delete canned_comments.php
Load the orders page.
Does it work?
If yes, you know this file is problematic.
If no, you know this file MAY be problematic.
Completely delete the injectQueue.php
Load the orders page.

Re: Help with orders.php
Thanks for your time and suggestions Gary. I chewed on this a bit more late yesterday and realized that this had to be a server issue. I had a few clues which I should have paid more attention to.
In any case I finally decided to check with my host and sure enough....there was a server update and as a temporary measure both the old server and new were on line. I happened to be uploading files to the old server via the old IP and the site was pulling files from new server using the domain name. I knew the server was being updated but it never occurred to me that I would experience this issue.
Live and learn I guess. Once again thanks for jumping in.

Not seeing any error messages or issues with the raw logs probably should have been a clue as well.Dan Cole wrote: ↑Thu Aug 08, 2024 5:44 pm the other thing I noticed in fiddling with this yesterday is that if I delete a hook it still shows when listing the hooks in the hooks modules list within admin.
