I have found this addon in it’s “Extra email” mode to stop the dummy account creation bots completely.
I have used it for many years, however since updating to bootstrap5 it no longer works. Is this due to the removal of jQuery?

Probably yes but would also need updating for BS5.

I have found 5 other supporters code addons that I use, there are probably more, that are broken because of removal of jQuery.
Is the easiest remedy to delete the jquery.php file in the Bootstrap5 template? I have tried this and they all work now but the layout of this one needs BS5ing.

Maybe as an interim step, add a copy of /templates/default/includes/hooks/shop/siteWide/jQuery.php
to
/templates/bootstrap5/includes/hooks/shop/siteWide/jQuery.php

Functionality in "Extra email" mode is correct.

Yes, that's default - the script is not connected with the Customer Data Group or its width.

That's nothing to do with the Addon.

Does "Manage Passwords" come from Java? I cannot find it in any file or the database of my site.

Manage Passwords comes from your browser (usually Chrome does this)
