Hello
I have Pheonix 1.1.0.3
PHP8.3
Ultimate Seo URL’s 3.0.8
I have been using Ultimate SEO as far back as when Chemo was still around.
Now I would probably prefer not to be using a URL rewriter now, but many of my links are that old too.
I have not been happy with 3.0.8, there are many issues with it, most not immediately apparent, and my current version of Phoenix.
What, if any, recommendations are there to get exactly the same URL structure
Ie.
Domain/first-second-third-p-1234.html
Domain/forth-fith-sixth-c-567-8910.html
The ability to remove words or digits of 1 letter
Preferably with a cache facility, although using cloudflare cache at the moment.
SiteMap
Canonical
100% works with phoenix, and maintained
Thank you for any input
David

That's the 100% works with Phoenix and maintained add-on that inherits from Chemo's version.

Re: Ultimate URL’s
Thank you ecartz for the heads up
Now I have other issues
On my test site I have downloaded and installed, name_based URLS, but in doing so it has brought another issue to light.
Becuase I have the Ultimate seo url rewiter on the site, I didnt notice, but without any url writers product pages are coming up as a 404, as is new products, privacy.php, shipping login, specials and others. But categories, contact us works.
Further fresh download of 1.1.0.3 and name_based URLS works fine.
So its something I have done, or have not done over the last couple of months.
Any pointers of where to start looking, to find the issue? Do not really want to start over if I can help it.
My production site is up and still running ultimate seo url 3.08, but this add on does have issues, and want to move to something more suitable.
Thank you
David

Re: Ultimate URL’s
Well its not the site, as it works on the production site.
So the test site didnt like to be moved for testing
original database with changed name so seperate
Deleted sessions
Turned off Cloudflare cache
Changed the config files in catalog and admin
Cleared browser cache
Must be another config area somewhere.

Re: Ultimate URL’s
Have you still got all the files uploaded for the old seo urls?
If so I believe there was a reset cache setting in the settings somewhere. I seem to remember years ago I had the same problem with no pages showing after the switch from one to the other. I did in the end re upload all the seo urls codes and made it active whilst making the latest name based urls inactive. Once I cleared the cache, I just made one inactive and the other active.
I don't think it was anything more complicated than that but is was many years ago now.

Re: Ultimate URL’s
Ok, Bit the bullet and installed Name-basedd urls on production site, worked as should.
But now the Canonical its listing, is as a standard URL rather than the rewrite one, on products and cats, again have cleared caches etc.
ie
https://www.DOMAIN.com/product_info.php ... s_id=47722
rather than
https://www.batterytrader.com/some_sort ... 47722.html
Only clue I have is the sitemaps, SO6e02-1.1.0.0 has never worked either, or at least I do not think it has unless it produces the xml in a hidden folder that i have not seen.
will say though the strange php errors have come down since its not using Ultimate URL 3.08.

Re: Ultimate URL’s
Canonicals Solved now too, mixture of things related to Ultimate SEO 3.08 which may or may not also bite me further down the line.
