Constant Customer Contact

Post by burt »

Ever wonder why some shops just seem to grow on autopilot?

A lot of it simply comes down to staying in touch with customers.
Our queued emails system make that ridiculously easy.

Instead of remembering to send emails for every little thing .. the system automatically queues them up, based on what customers do (or don’t do). Welcome emails, cart reminders, follow-ups .. you name it.

Queued Emails is a growth & marketing tool:

💌 Welcome new customers - a friendly intro + bestsellers can nudge them to buy.
🛒 Recover abandoned carts - a gentle "forgot something?" email
🔁 Encourage repeat buys - follow-ups after a purchase or a period of inactivity keep people coming back.

A simple sequence that works:

1️⃣ Welcome email right after sign-up
2️⃣ Cart reminder if items are left behind
3️⃣ Follow-up a few days later

It's automated but still personal. Every queued email is a little nudge that builds trust, encourages sales, and keeps your shop growing steadily.

Think of it as a marketing engine quietly humming in the background - while the shop does its thing, customers are engaged, buying more, and coming back for more. 🎯

It is a great system. We don't use as many modules as Dan does, but we love it to. Its a simple way of keeping in contact with customers for any reason you choose. The templates are easy to add and update, and using a simple, cron job relieves any pressure to remember to do something at a particular time.

And adaptable, recently had burt make a module that only fired if the success page was triggered AND shipping country was NOT uk, so it sent a email to buyers outside of UK only.
