You don't need a thousand sales to look trusted. You just need a real face, a real way to be reached, and one real person saying something nice. Start with those three things today. They cost zero and work better than any ad.When you're brand new, nobody knows you.
They don't trust you yet. And without trust, they won't click 'buy.'
You don't need money to fix this.
You just need to do three simple things that big brands already do.
Three ways to look like a Trusted Brand (even if you have zero sales)

Re: Three ways to look like a Trusted Brand (even if you have zero sales)
1. An "About Us" page that isn't boring
What newbs do wrong:
-> Write "We sell high-quality candles made with love."
What works instead:
-> Tell them why you started. Show your face. Use your real name.
-> People buy from people, not from "we." A real face + a real problem = believable.

Why this builds trust for free:My name is Sarah. I started this shop because my son has allergies, and I couldn't find a candle that didn't give him a headache. So I made my own. Every candle here is tested in my kitchen first.
-> People buy from people, not from "we." A real face + a real problem = believable.
Action step for YOU, now:
Add a real photo and some words about yourself, your mission to your About page. Not a stock photo. Yours.

2. Clear contact info
What newbs do wrong:
-> Only a contact form. No phone number. No address. No human name.
What works instead:
-> Put an email address like `sarah@myshop.com` (not `support@`). Add a physical address, even if it's your home (or a PO box). Say "Reply to this email – a real person writes back within 24 hours."
Why this builds trust for free:
-> Scam sites hide. Real people don't. When a customer sees a real email and a real place, their guard drops.

3. Social proof you already have (but aren't using)
What newbies do wrong:
-> "I don't have reviews yet, so I can't do anything."
What works instead:
-> Show screenshots of kind messages from friends or early testers. Show a photo of your product in someone's hands (even your cousin's). Show a text message where someone said "I love this."
Why this builds trust for free:
-> It doesn't have to be a formal 5-star review. A casual photo, a WhatsApp screenshot, or even "Here's what my first customer said" works better than nothing.
