When converting older PI modules to latest version col-12 mb-3 only shows as 0

Post by 14Steve14 »

I am converting some older product info PI modules so they will work on my latest version upgrade site. I have tried all sorts of things but after changing the code in each of the files when I upload and instal them all I see in the admin layout page is a Zero rather than what is set for the module width col-12 mb-3. The correct setting is shown when I edit or view the settings in the right hand column, but zero in the main page section.

Am I doing something wrong when I convert the modules as the code looks very similar to to any of the latest versions.

The old modules' set function & template just used a number for the columns

The new modules have a free text field for the classes
Make sure your updated module has no set_func and that the template has none of the col- stuff

You will need to uninstall and reinstall to clear the function

And specifically remove the (int)cast in the first line of the template files

Thank you both. I have lots of specially coded older modules that need adding and updating so its going to take a while to find all these little changes.
