Add Links to Header

Post by KenSO »

Hi All,

Please can someone guide me on how I can add the what’s new and featured products links to the header after special offers? The what’s new and featured products link in my sidebar boxes will soon get lost amongst everything else after I add a whole bunch of products to my shop.

Thank you!

Presuming you mean the Nav Bar, not the Header.
New Products exists as a Navbar Module.
Read the User Guide for answers - https://phoenixcart.org/phoenixcartwiki ... ar_Modules
Featured Products does not exist as a Navbar Module so you would have to make it - https://phoenixcart.org/phoenixcartwiki ... ent_Module
or have it made by one of the Development Partners - viewtopic.php?f=26&t=309

What you need to do is to find a similar module that is already made and in use on your site. Then copy and rename the files to what you want and change the link in the module itself. It sounds harder than it is. Tale a look in the new products module and change new_products to featured_products, or what ever and then upload your new module to your site and install in in your admin.

Admin > Modules > Navbar > [Install Modules] > New Products

Whereas featured products is perhaps an addon? So would maybe need a navbar module made for it.

Thanks all for replies and help. Much appreciated!

I'd reached out to the certified developers I was referred to on the Oscommerce forum but got no reply. I need to have a couple of addons done specifically for my shop. Who should I contact?
