Order confirmation issue

Hey.

I´m running v. 1.0.7.18 on PHP 7.4 and i can´t figure out one vital function
When i place an order i never get the order confirmation mail to the shop owner or the one ordering.
The customer gets the mail If i update the order with notify customer ticked.

I´ve found a module in notifications named checkout but i can´t install it because it´s dependant of something called Greeting that i can´t find?
I know about the customer greeting content module but that one is already installed.
Could this be causing the issue? If not, what is the checkout notification module used for?

The checkout notification is installed by default. If you don't have it installed, you must have uninstalled it.

Greeting is one of the customer data modules. Probably traditional_short_name. You could either install that or create a replacement.

I would never have figured out that greeting was the traditional short name module
