I have just downloaded you current ZIP as im lookign to upgrade from the "old world" to Phoenix; i have download the latest zip and it seems the Admin log on is broken?
After loggin in to the Admin screen it redirects to:
http://<server>/<dir>/admin/1
Which then errors as "Not Found"
Have turned on verbose PHP errors and dont see any PHP errors in the brower at login.php?

Guess you are using v1.0.8.4 https://github.com/CE-PhoenixCart/Phoen ... master.zip
Sorry I can't help other than I cannot replicate your issue on a new 1.0.8.4 install - admin login working as expected for me.

Thanks for reading and repsonding; i deleted and reinstalled again, and seems fine now so it isnt your install zip, must have just been a missing file or something when FTP'ing up.
