Tax on Shipping Order Total

Hello,

My store is calculating tax on shipping. I don't want it to do it that way. Check out the attachment. The total should be $26.87(USD). What should I adjust?

Maybe adjust sort order so Shipping is before Tax. That's how it is by default in a new install.

Shipping modules use to have config settings by tax class and zone to set how or if to apply tax on shipping.

I'm trying to determine if it's your Discount Code 5.6.1 or Klarna via Stripe by @BrockleyJohn. I'm awaiting a reply to an email I sent him.

discount code doesn't interfere if no discount is applied like in your sample screenshot.
