I have a minor issue concerning Free Shipping in version 1.0.8.4. I have Free Shipping set to $50.00 USD in Order Total.
I use Stripe as the Payment method and Discount codes. I was thinking that the issue could be the way I have the Order Total modules arranged.
I apologize if this issue has been resolved but I did search the forums the best that I could.
I have attached how I have the Order Total modules arranged in admin. Thank you all.

You don't mention what the issue is. E.g. is it not giving free shipping when it should? Giving when it shouldn't? All the time? Or just in one circumstance?

As mentioned, I have it set to $50 but it gives the free shipping at $40.

On one side, Discount Codes is untested for Phoenix 1.0.8.4. It is flagged for 1.0.8.2.
On the other side, Discount code should not interfere in any way if no discount code is used.
To be 100% sure that is does not interfere, disable the ot_discount module and test again.
Maybe a tax issue?
You could post a concrete order example with all ot amounts.

Just checked under unmodified Phoenix 1.0.8.5 and I see the opposite problem:
I can't get free shipping despite the order total is far over threshhold and I tried with "national" and "both".

Is there a way to automatically apply free shipping using Discount Codes? Or does it need to use a code?

@ecartz I've seen another issue.
I have the free shipping threshold set at $50 but a customer checked out with 25 low-cost items that didn't reach the dollar amount. I've looked in admin at the settings to see if it was a configuration.
Is it a setting that I may have overlooked or another bug?
