Thanks for excellent module, and hope filtering plan will make it more attractive.

As it is not in "PI Module" which gives a flexibility to move modules as we wish, is there a plan to add this in PI module or is it possible to adjust the place of this module as we desire.
Presently I can only adjust size, looking to move information underneath description as shown below:

You could do it yourself - for example, compare the differences in files of the Model module between the standard content>product_info module and the PI module.
This will give you a clue on how to convert it.
Alternatively you could ask a certified developer for a quote to do it for you.

Anyone having issues saving selections after the 1.0.8.5 update?
I'm seeing entries in the error_log file simply loading the New Categories/Products link in the admin. I copied and changed the different categories folders to catalog and everything shows but won't save and I see several of these in the error log file.

PHP Notice: Undefined index: members in /public_html/includes/hooks/admin/catalog/groups.php on line 45

Thoughts?

Try adding this to the HOOK file just before the final closing }

Code: Select all

  public function listen_updateProductAction() {
    self::listen_productActionSave();
  }

   public function listen_insertProductAction() {
    self::listen_productActionSave();
  }
I am not here to build for you.

Thank you! That worked for Specifications and Terms. Also worked for another add-on to show Specials Price.
I did notice that with Product Specifications that if I had a Group without any Group Members it would generate a line in the error log that indicated the group had no members.

Undefined index: members in /home/xxxxxxx/public_html/includes/hooks/admin/categories/groups.php on line 45

Once I added a group member to all the groups, the Undefined index notice went away. I just thought you might want to be aware of this as other might see these notices in the error log file and not understand they need to add a member to every group. I also thought you might be able to update this in the future to prevent the log entry.

Thanks!

s04e10 - Product Specs. Tab do not show in Catagories/Products

Post by braadso »

After updating to CE Phoenix v1.0.8.5, The tab for specifications do not show in products.
The specs. do still show in the shop and the database is still ok.
Tried to upload the module again, but everything is still there.
Tried to install "Admin > Catalog > Product Tags" as mentioned, but not in the "Install Module"

It worked ok before the upgrade.

Note that the file categories.php has been renamed to catalog.php - My guess is that you have to move a hook from includes/hooks/admin/categories to a new folder (you have to create it) called catalog (includes/hooks/admin/catalog), and also rename the class in the hook appropriately (changing categories to catalog). There might be more to do, and this might not be it.

Thanks. No idea of how to create a hook. Just also seen that the CKEDITOR5 also is missing in the products page.
Not handy that this happens :-(

Before updating to a new Phoenix Cart version, first ensure any installed Addons have been updated to support that new version.
If you are the developer for your website, it is best practice to maintain a 'test shop' or 'staging website' which is a 'mirror' of your live website as advised in the User Guide here. This is then used to apply changes, updates etc and anything that requires a 'fix' can then be fixed before applying them to your live website.
