The Category description will, if entered, show at the top, beneath the Category Title.
The Product SEO Description will show beneath the product it belongs to.
There are many more options, but to give directions I need more information of where exactly you want the text, if not any of the options above is suitable.

You enter the text in the Category Description box when creating or editing a category. Same with the SEO description. Once text is entered into the description box it will show on the site. You can alter where it shows on the page by adjusting the sort order in the Modules - Content page in your admin. Look for index_nested.
