From admin go to Configuration → E-Mail Options to see this:

The default settings can be left as they are here unless you know better!

  • To edit any item.
  • Click on the item in the list to select it.
  • Click it again to open the edit panel.


  • E-Mail Transport Method
    • If you host server is running on Windows or MacOS, change this setting to SMTP.
  • Use MIME HTML When Sending Emails
    • Setting this to True enables HTML formatting in emails.
  • Send E-Mails
    • Enables or Disables the entire email system.
