From admin go to Configuration → My Store - you will see this:
Some settings for My Store are already personalised from when you installed Phoenix but they can be changed now if required.
- Store Name
- Store Owner
- E-Mail Address
- E-Mail From
To change any setting:
- Click the item in the Title column list to select it.
- Click Edit
- Change the settings in the edit panel.
- Click Save
- Country
- Enter the Country in which your shop is located from the drop down menu.
- Zone
- Enter the Zone in which your shop is located from the drop down menu.
- Switch To Default Language Currency
- Set to true if you have more than one language installed - the currency will change to match the language selected by the customer.
- Send Extra Order E-Mails To
- By default, an email will be sent to the E-Mail Address set above and to the customer when they have completed an order in the shop. If required, order emails can be sent to additional email addresses entered here in the format Name 1 <email@address1>, Name 2 <email@address2>
- Use Search-Engine Safe URLs
- Set this to change the format of the URL of your pages - there is no reason to change it.
- Default set to false shows yoursite/product_info.php?products_id=2
- Set to true shows yoursite/product_info.php/products_id/2
- Display Cart After Adding Product
- Set as required to redirect the customer to the shopping cart page or stay on the product page after adding the product to cart.
- Set to false keeps the customer on the product page and displays a success message e.g. Lemons has been added to your cart
- Set to true redirects the customer to the shopping cart page and displays the same success message.
Tip: If a product is out of stock, a stock warning message is displayed on the shopping cart page. The message shown changes according to your settings for Configuration → Stock → Allow Checkout - see Stock. You may wish to set Display Cart After Adding Product to true so customers see this message straight away.
- Default Search Operator
- Set to either and or or. Experiment with this to see which operator gives you more accurate search results.
- Store Address
- Enter your address as you wish - your VAT or Tax Number could also be added at the end - this will be displayed on documents and on the shop.
- Store Phone
- Enter your telephone number as you wish - this will be displayed on documents and on the shop.
- Tax Decimal Places
- Set this to correlate with your tax rates e.g. leave as 0 for 20% - set to 2 for 17.75%.
- Display Prices with Tax
- Set to true if you wish to show all prices inclusive of tax otherwise tax will only be added in checkout.
- Allow All Reviews
- Set to true enables customers to submit reviews on any product.
- Set to false enables customers to submit reviews only on products they have purchased.
Tip: Note that in the latest version of Phoenix, customers are only able to submit reviews on products they have purchased if invited to do so by emailing them a link. There are modules available separately that enable customers to submit reviews on the shop without invitation. Note that all submitted reviews are received by the shop owner who can then edit and publish them, they are not published automatically Catalog → Reviews - see Reviews
