From admin go to Catalog → Specials to see this:

This lists all products that have a special price.

These products can be shown on the shop in many ways.

• They will show as usual in the product listing in their category with their special price indicated in red.
• They will also show all together on their own specials.php page.
• A link to this page can be shown by installing modules.
• Install the Specials box module.
  • Go to Modules → Boxes
  • Click Install Module
  • Look for Specials in the list
  • Click Install Module
  • Click Edit
  • Choose a Content Placement to show in the left or right column.
  • Enter a Sort Order value

- look for Upcoming Products

They will also show main index page in the Upcoming Products content index module which is installed by default - go to Modules → Content - look for Upcoming Products in the list in the index group.---- Create new special prices for products.

• Click New Product to see this:

• Choose a product from the Product: pull down menu.
• Enter a Special Price:
  • You can enter a percentage to deduct in the Specials Price field, for example: 20%
  • If you enter a new price, the decimal separator must be a . (decimal-point), example: 49.99
• Click in the Expiry Date: input box to use the date picker to enter an expiry date or leave blank for no expiry.
• Click Save

Edit special prices for products.

• Click Edit to see this:

• Change the Special Price:

Delete special prices for products.

• Click Delete
• Click Delete again to confirm.

Enable and disable special prices from showing in the shop.

• Click the Status buttons - green to enable - red to disable.
