downloadable products

Hi, I tried to add a downloadable product (text), but don't know how to. I tried to follow the manual about Download but I can not choose Download from pull down menu in Product Options nor in Options Values. I have added the zip file in the download folder. I would be grateful if anybody who knows how to do it, could tell me? I I've obviously missed something.
I have contributed with swedish addon, and am now working on thai addon, if some are interested.

The user guide is quite good at explaining how to set up downloads.

You first need to create a product, which you do in the usual way.

Then you need to create an Attribute which we call 'Download'

You then need to create an 'Option' matched to the attribute.

You should then be able to add the attribute and option to the product.

We sell loads of downloads and once you have the system sorted, they are not that bad to do.
