Oh, wait! That's actually a pretty good phrasing of my question. ; )

Re: How do I even phrase this question?
OK, I think I figured out that it's in the n Modular index module.
I've been reduced to going down the list of modules and turning each of them off to check the results. Turning this one off makes it go away, which actually helps.

Re: How do I even phrase this question?
The π Modular index module is actually a parent module (for the index page in this case, there are other similar parent modules for contact_us and product_info) that contains other child modules which are known as layout or pi modules.
Turning off the parent (Modular) module will stop all the child (layout/pi) modules in that parent from displaying which might not be desirable.
From your dashboard, go to Modules > Layout to find the layout modules.
See there 3 layout modules for the index page (index in the Group column).
The module in your question is Hero Text.
The text associated with every module will be in that module's language file which can be edited as desired.
From your dashboard, go to Tools > Language Explorer.
Look in the list for english > modules > pi > index, click the drop down arrow and see the 3 language files associated with the 3 layout modules.
Click the copy icon. This will copy the file to your template (which is override in a new install).
So now a copy of that file will be at /templates/override/includes/languages/english/modules/pi/index/i_hero.php
Go to that file on your server, edit as desired and save.
Sounds complicated and confusing? Yes, it is, but, like most things in life, it becomes very easy once you've done it a few times.

Re: How do I even phrase this question?
At this point I think I get that the text can be found in the language files, so I did go to Language Explorer but then had no idea how to find what I was looking for. This helps.

Looking at https://phoenixcart.org/phoenixcartwiki ... uage_Files, there is a link on that page that goes to another help page: https://phoenixcart.org/phoenixcartwiki ... hange_Text
So, in your example, searching the GitHub code repository for Snap it, which is some of the text that shows in that module, gives: https://github.com/search?q=repo%3ACE-P ... &type=code, which shows the relevant language file and its location.

Re: How do I even phrase this question?
If its any help we use a program called 'Notepad++' to search files to find specific words and phrases. Its so much easier. It is also a free download and so simple to use even I can use the basics of it.
