Administration

From admin go to Adminnavbartools.png Tools → Database Backup

  • Click Backup to see this:

  • No Compression (Pure SQL) is already selected - this can be left as is.
  • Download only (do not store server side) checkbox is unticked - leave unticked to save on the server - tick this box to save to the downloads folder on your computer - it is advisable to do both.
  • Click Backup - the database SQL file will then show on the page when complete if it is saved on the server - it will be saved in the file path shown on the page.

If the database has been stored on the server, it can be restored by:

  • Click the file.
  • Click Restore

If the database has been downloaded and saved on your computer, it must be restored by accessing your database on your host server account and importing the file - see phpMyAdmin
