NEW INSTALLATION OF CE PHOENIX

INSTALL VIA SOFTACULOUS

CE Phoenix can now be downloaded, uploaded and installed in one process with Softaculous.

This can be done directly by going to Softaculous but Softaculous App Installer is already available on many host servers - look for this in your host account cPanel and look for CE Phoenix there. If you do not see it there, ask your host to add it.

MANUAL INSTALL

CE Phoenix Cart can be installed on a local machine using WAMP, e.g. XAMPP, or on a host server.

This how we have installed CE Phoenix on our host server with success.

Some actions will depend on host server - host servers may slightly differ.

This is written for a beginner, assuming no prior knowledge.

The process has been broken down into easily accomplished, step by step tasks in the links below.

It is advisable to complete each step in sequence.

See ADMINISTRATION for the complete user guide to the Admin Dashboard.

You will need some software freely available to download from the internet :

  • FTP (file transfer) software to connect to your host server and transfer files between your computer and your host server.
  • File editing software to edit .php files.

See Must Have Tools for details.
